ramadamadingdong

Dude, it's been a long day and I'm friggin tired and would love to get some sleep ... but I just have to get this off my chest.

KLAXONS WAS THE BEST FRIGGIN SHOW I'VE EVER BEEN TO.

Yup. Me and S went to see Klaxons tonight. I've been a fan of them for about a year and a half but after tonight they are officially my favorite live band and fourth overall favorite band. :D

'kay, so the show took place at club Hollywood and was supposed to start at 8. Me and S managed to miss the bus we were supposed to take lol but somehow we still made it there around 8. Luckily, the warm-up band was still performing - Popidiot. It's this Estonain-Finnish electric music duo. The Estonian guy blabbered a lot in between songs, but I liked the finnish guy he only said "Aitäh" after every second song. :D

So when they started setting up the stage for Klaxons, we moved a bit forward and got the best place ever - we were in the middle of the crowd, just on a higher ledge so we could see above everyone's heads and straight at the stage, which was about 3 meters from us. I can't believe we were so lucky to get that spot - it was perfect!

This is one of the three pics I managed to take and the only one that's not horribly fuzzy.

Anyway, the show started off really fast, I think the first song was Atlantis to Interzone but I'm not sure, I was totally raving along with everything they played xD it was just so awesome hearing all those songs live and right in front of me.

I've been listening to their songs on repeat for the past two days and each time I find something new and interesting about each song. Like I discovered that the drum parts in Gravity's Rainbow totally PWN :

Boomp3.com

I listened to the songs on repeat on my way home too, I just never get tired of them! They're just too good!

I tried to learn all the lyrics before the show cause i like singing along. I'm definitely a person who values music over lyrics but after reading Klaxons' lyrics over and over again, I find them fascinating. They've got some really weird stuff in their songs and it really makes you wonder "what the hell do they mean by "my culture vulture such a dab hand"" ... well, I don't really spend time wondering over their lyrics but some thoughts related to it have crossed my mind :D

So I sang along with most of the songs, it was sooo amazing. xD I had so much fun

About in the middle of the concert some people started throwing underwear onto the stage, but they had like bags of underwear with them so they threw like 50 pieces of underwear on the stage. Simon (the guitarist) started laughing, it was really funny XD
Simon's my favorite member of the band, he always makes me laugh and I like how on stage he was like totally concentrated on playing guitar but then he would suddenly look at the crowd like the others had told him to look around a bit or something and he'd forgotten. anywayz it was awesome to see him play, now i want to learn to play all the klaxons songs on guitar. and on drums too... too bad i don't have drums.

deeeem, it really was the best show ever.... it ended really quickly, though. they only did one song as an encore but well, they don't have that many songs to begin with...
they said that their next album's coming out soon so I really hope they come back soon, I feel like they liked the crowd here...

lol and almost forgot, that after the show we were heading for the door and the singer from Popidiot passed me so I told him that his show was great and he was like really happy and gave me and S and two 12-year-old girls who were standing next to us all free albums! Yay for random kindness! :D

anyway i say anyway a lot dont i? it was a mad mad show, i didnt have a chance to buy a drink cause i didnt want to lose the great spot we had on the floor, so after the show i gobbled down haf a litre of sprite which made me feel even weirder but in a good way lol im getting real sleepy here so lets call it a night.

Klaxons, thanks for the BEST SHOW EVAAARR :D

Well...

I'm really not much of a blogger, am I? :D What's it been? Two months? Three? Lol.
Actually, my life is just really boring. But I suppose I should write here every once in a while.

Kay. First of all, I'm in college now! High school is finally over! No more gym classes! Woo!
However, so far college has been really lame. I'm studying International Relations (don't ask why - I have no idea). I didn't get to pick any classes myself for the first semester and they're mostly realllly boring. Like fall asleep in the middle of class boring.
My public administration teacher talks like his mouth is full of porridge.
The Law teacher speaks CRAZY fast. He says we need to learn to write really fast so he goes like, "Law is... scblurebölsadjeitscjbalfnsalkgasklfaöfaslfawlkfrnalfsjb".
Could you repeat that please?
"I said... asklfaöfaslfawlk."
My English teacher can't really speak English.

But I do like the German teacher. During our first class he had this long discussion with himself about his life. He even made a timeline of his life on the blackboard. But I did learn a little German. djeeaar ljööve means "lion". :)

*~*~*~*

What else... oh yeah. Failed my driving test. AGAIN.
GOSH.
The examiner tells me to turn left. I turn left. Then he says that I missed this sign:

OMFGWTFBBQWTH?????????

WHY MUST YOU TORTURE ME LIKE THIS??
WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS????

I AM NOT THAT BAD AT DRIVING!

...

I hate my life.

It's like he has to try to trick me into making a mistake. I was driving perfectly fine but he just HAS to fuck it up. What a bastard. I should have him assassinated but I don't want to waste my money on him. I guess I'll have to take the test again, get my license and then run him over . MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YES!

*cough*

/madness

*~*~*~*~*~*

On to something more pleasant... Twilight!

The last book Breaking Dawn was released August 2nd.
So, August 2nd, I'm supposed to be going to my cousin's wedding, but I'm like, no, I have to go buy Breaking Dawn first!
So, I go to the book store, they say that it hasn't arrived yet, but it'll be there in about two days.
Anyway, I'll skip ahead a bit - September the frickin seventh. No Breaking Dawn.
I gave in a few weeks ago and downloaded the book. It took me 30 seconds - finding a download site, downloading the file and opening it. A month of waiting in agony... and then I have it right in front of me in just 30 seconds. Damn.

Well, now I've read it through (twice). It was insane. But AWSOME. Usually a book has maybe one or two OH. MY. GOD. moments but this book was full of them. So much unexpected stuff happened... it was wonderful! :D

Unfortunately, more than half of the next book in the saga, Midnight Sun, was leaked online and now Stephenie Meyer, the author, said that she does not know if she wants to finish it. *major despair*

I am an addict. I can't live withour Twilight anymore. XD I need that next book Stephenie! I can imagine how terrible it must feel... she's been working on it for severeal years and she's really excited about it but then some idiots leak some half finished version online... damn.
I really hope that when the movie premiers, she'll see how many fans love Twilight and she'll want to finish it.

Ah, glad to get that off my chest.

*~*~*~*~*~*

I just remebered - I finally have Guitar Hero III !! I waited for it half the summer and now I have it right here in my room. I love it! I've already completed it on easy, and now I'm working on medium. And I've discovered some great old songs through it.

*~*~*~*~*

Just checked my last post, it's really been a while. Metallica! I saw 'em in Riga. What can I say? It rained a lot. We ran around in the rain for like 5 minutes trying to find the guy whol sold rain capes. But when we finally gave up and when to the stadium to buy Battery enery drinks, the dude offers us rain capes. WIN! That was lucky. :D

The show itself was pretty good. But it was just so quiet. I was comparing it to the show in Tallinn and man, that was LOUD. My parents who were like a 20 minute drive away could hear it.

So it was nice hearing their songs again but the concert in Tallinn was way better.

I also went see Snoop Dogg. Well, actually back in like april 2007 I bought tickets to Missy Elliott but they kept delaying that show. Finally they said that Missy was cancelling her tour and that Akon was coming here instead. Kay, fine. Then they announced that Snoop Dogg was gonna also going to be here with Akon. Sweet. But finally, a few days before the show, Akon cancelled for "personal reasons". In jail again?
Anyway, Snoop Dogg on Lauluväljak - WIN. It was awesomeee! Hell-motherfuckin-yeeaaah! ;D It was definitely better than 50 Cent's concert.

Which reminds me that the VMAs are tonight at around 3AM. I won't stay up to watch them, I'll prolly download the video later but it's sounding pretty interesting...

Yeah. I think I'm done here for now.

So um... later, dudes!

Why hello there.

Nice to meet you. I'm the person who used to post here but then forgot about her blog got really busy for over two moths. :D

Could you imagine that I finished high school? Hallelujah! My exams went rather well, if anyone is interested.
Graduation was... something. I got to listen to two hours of speeches by some bald men. I also got my diploma. My parents also got a diploma - for "raising a good daughter". WTF? Do my parents really need specially honoring because I managed not to have any 3s or 2s on my report card?
God, my school must really be filled with idiots if they give diplomas to the parents...

Yeah... I graduated with a class of mostly idiots. Actually, 4 idiots in my class didn't graduate at all. Well, farewell to them and I hope they enjoy their journey on the failboat.

I've also been checking out colleges. I don't know what I want to study. I've never had some dream career... It would be awesome if I'd known since I was 3 that I wanted to be a fireman or a tractor driver (like my little bro).
The psychologist at our school made us take some career tests and shizz. She said that since I'm "artistic, entrepreneurial (lol, that sounds funny in English), and communicative" the perfect job for me would be... *drumroll* a potter! And I could own my own little pottery so I could be an artistic enteprenuer and also communicate with people. Wow, what an ingenious idea.
Fuck that, I'm not going to be making pots for the rest of my life.

The idea of starting my own company is tempting though. I have many crazy ideas... I have to pick one and perfect it and maybe it would work out well and I could be a billionaire in a few years!
Yeeeaaah. I really keep things realistic, huh?

Anyways, I sent applications to three colleges. I plan on studying business-related stuff.
Um.... that was pretty specific.
gah, i don't know. If college sucks, then I'll just quit after a semester or two and move to Singapore and open a beach bar or something.

Well, education sure is a depressing topic so let's move on.

Musically - this summer's looking to be the best of my whole life. First of all - Franz Ferdinand! They played at Õllesummer, so there were a lot of drunk fat men around but the ticket was super cheap.
Ever since I heard Take Me Out, I've liked FF. I'm still not very familiar with all their songs but I have 8 songs in my music library, which I love!! I hadn't listened to half of them a lot, but the day before the concert I listened to them on repeat for so many hours and I fell soooo in love.... And the show itself was awesome! The guys have so much energy and few times I actually lol-ed because they were so funny and cute jumping around the stage... awww. :D Man, it rawked so hard. I loved it.

But the next day.... wait, there's a longer story to this.

So I was driving to the middle of nowhere with Blonde Mafia and another classmate for our graduation party (which I forgot to write about - it rained a lot, and there was a watermelon involved) and Blonde Mafia saw this advertisement for Knockout Festival in Riga. There were some pretty big names included so we were all interested in going.
But then we kinda forgot about it for a long time. Until a few days before the FF concert that is. So we kinda bought the festival tickets and bus tickets a day before the real thing.

Ears ringing, I woke up after FF and got on the bus to Riga. Dude, that bus was pimpin! It had these huge leather seats like in the business class in airplanes... and there was a stuardess or whatever and she offered us plaids. PLAIDS!!! :D
The trip to Riga went veeery smoothly.

The festival took place on Zakusala island in the middle of Riga. We ran across some highway twice to get to the bridge to the island. We didn't see the tunnel that went under the highway to the bridge. Blonds lol...

The island was like a field filled with hay. And there were three white tents where different DJs played at all times and then there was a pretty big main stage with some shiny lights.
So the place looked crappy but the music was really good. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of house and electro and stuff, I liked listening to it.

The best part of the night was prolly Joey Negro. I only knew one song by him but that didn't matter, because in that small white tent filled with hay and people, everything sounded great. I pretty much danced for 2 hours straight until it was Dennis Ferrer's turn.

Then prolly came the worst part of the night. I started feeling really sick. I think I have a problem with speakers that are too loud, maybe they like make my internal organs fibrillate too much or something XD but I wasn't feeling good at all.

So from about 3AM to 4AM I just sat under some bush, listened to Franz Ferdinand on my iPhone, and tried my hardest not to throw up. It was cold and the music was just too loud... it was depressing, not being able to find some peace and quiet. I couldn't go anywhere without the noise blaring in my ears and people jumping around. I was seriously considering getting the hell out of there and finding a hotel room. But our bus was supposed to leave at 7AM so I decided to hang on.

I'd spent all my latvian lats so I couldn't even buy water and I was dying of thirst. I begged a few people to exchange a few euros for lats but they all refused. But this guy Janis bought me a bonaqua. Awww. I was impressed that he spoke English! All day we'd been asking people for s
directions to Zakusala but not one person understood English. But he did! So he helped me survive the last hour. It was a little after 5AM when the last DJ left so we cleaned up in the little fountain they had at the festival and headed to the bus station.

I drank some weird coffee-like vanilla drink and it burned my tongue. Ow.
We washed ourselves in the bus station's toilet. We were like hobos XD It was then when I really noticed how filthy the festival had been. I was covered in dirt. After I brushed my hair, my comb looked like I had cleaned it with mud. And when I blew my nose, this black stuff came out. Cute. I'm lucky I didn't get asthma. XD
The ride home went by really quickly since I was asleep most of the way.

At home I couldn't sleep because every time I laid down, there was this mad loud ringing in my ears. Much worse than the ringing I've ever had after other concerts. When I concentrated on it, I realized it was as if I was standing next to a foghorn. So I gave up and stayed up and went to sleep when it got dark. I had to listen to my iPod to drown out the ringing but I did manage to fall asleep.

And I still have Metallica and Akon+Snoop Dogg and possibly Sean Kingston, R.E.M. and We Are the Scientists left on the menu. Nice. 8)

And after that I've just chilled. I'm still completely obsessed with Twilight, which I don't think I have mentioned here until now. Well, it's a book series and my new replacement for Harry Potter. They are romantic action horror novels about vampires and werewolves and also some normal people and well, they are very compelling. I read the first three books in less than a week and now I'm waiting for the last book of the series which will be out in August! And while waiting, I have read and re-read the three books about 4 times each.

I've also been listening to book two of the Wheel of Time series. I read the first book a few years ago and started waiting for the sequel to be translated but since it seems like that is not going to happen, I downloaded the audiobook version of book 2 and I'm listening to that...

I'm super tired of typing already but I just have to say this. I have a new laptop! Praise the gods! It has 160GB of free space!!!! My old computer had about 100MB of free space last time I checked. Now I just have the trouble of getting all my music, pictures and files and sims and everything to this laptop... shall be fun.
The only thing that sucks is that Microsoft Word and Excel are in Estonian. o_o I will die a slow death if I ever have to use them for more than 20 minutes.

K, peace, I'm out.

Go home Dima! D: (Thoughts on ESC '08)

Ahh... Eurovision - the yearly karaoke festival for Europe and some random countries. Often I wonder why, but it has become kind of addicting. I've been watching it since I was like 7-8 years old. Wow, it's like a tradition. Before I just liked listening to the songs, now I mostly watch it to have a good laugh. But I usually find at least a few songs I like and can add to my music library.
I have to admit, it would be a lot more interesting if Estonia made it to the final. Sadly, we haven't qualified since like 2003 or so. Major fail.
This year the whole country seemed to think that three middle aged men who can't sing could bring us the victory. Stupid, stupid, stupid... But they did have blond chicks and flags on stage. Now that's unique. I can see why everyone though Kreisiraadio had a chance. NOT.
I mean, if you're going for the "funny" theme, it better be damn crazy! Otherwise it'll just look half-hearted and stupid. I like Kreisiraadio in the old days, when they had their own TV show, kinda like an Estonian Monty Python. That was funny. Leto Svet... not so much. D:
The song was just too boring. And they didn't really shine on stage either. The lyrics were kinda funny (random lines from a tourist dictionary I believe) but no one understood them. It was like an inside joke.
I have usually liked the "funny" songs at Eurovision. Alf Poier form Austria with his cardboard animals... Lithuania with their "We are the winners" chant... Verka Serduchka last year with Lasha Tumbai... Leto Svet - not so much.
'Kay, 'nuff said.

And now for some more complaining.
What was up with the hosts? Rather tasteless clothes, abstruse jokes and pointless dialog. Or perhaps I just don't understand serbians and their humor.

The double half-final thing was also a bit maddening because I only got to vote in one of the finals... two of my faves who were in the other half-final and I couldn't vote for them and they didn't make it to the final. D:
Yet Latvia and some other weirdos got through. Damn.

But the worst thing of all... Russia won. DIMA BILAN won. Viktor Belan for god's sake. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
At first I though Russia was gonna land in the top 10 like it usually does but then suddenly it started getting ridiculous amounts of 10 an 12 points and before I knew it - Dima was back on the stage with that creepy skater dude and screaming like a girl again. I beliieeeeeeeeeeveeeeee. Go to hell Dima. D:
So I guess next ESC will be in Moscow. *sigh*

Greece or Ukraine would have been a good winner. I would have liked to see Turkey or France winning. Or possibly Spain. :D

Baila el Chiki Chiki (versión final) - www.buenafuente.ws - Rodolfo Chikilicuatre

Belarus was also one of my faves but didn't even make it to the final. :((( Hasta la Vista Belarus.

*another sigh* I cut my finger with a pack of yogurt. Don't ask how, I just did, and now it's bleeding a little and hurting. D:

Well, off to watch Estonian Idol LAWL.

[insert clever title here]

Doo de dum.

I really don't have much to write about. But I'm gonna force myself to think of something...

Hmmm... so I've got an English exam tomorrow. Boring. Yawn. I'd like to think I'm smart enough to get maximum points, but you never know, ya know.

Jannnooo.

My warlock is level 61. High five! I'm doing my epic mount quest.... last part. Need like 300 gold to buy some magic powder to summon a huge magic horsie and then kill it. Easy peasy pumpkin peasy pumpkin pie motherfucker, in the words of Gerard Way.

Nice innit? One of those cutiepies will soon be mine... Mwahaa. Ha.

Oh yes, I downloaded Cubase, a program for producing music. It's prolly nothing near what Timbaland is using but hey, I'm a beginner, believe it or not, and it will have to do. I made a nice 15-sec thingabob today, I think it's quite catchy actually...

Maybe if I ever make a whole song I'll post it here. But don't hold your breath. 'Cause you'll die. Ha.

Sunday, April 13, 2008

First of all:

HAHAHAHAHA. I laughed like 5 mins at that.

Kay.

Next...

Elisa Jordana. What a weird pop/hip hop/wadewa artist. But I really like her. Stumbled upon her profile at purevolume (this has nothing to do with a huge pic of her on purevolume's front page... XD). And yup, all of her songs are potential hits. And I like the iPhone reference in the song "My Manolos". But "The Dark Side of the City" is my fave. Great beat. Like, Timbaland-great beat. Well, almost. =D

I'm also really loving will.i.am's Heartbreaker. It's already the top 7th song in my iTunes. Heavy rotation for Will. Only Arctic Monkeys and Verka Serduchka can beat him. :D

***

It's already the middle of April. Exams are not far away. Depressing, much?
The only good thing is that I have a few lessons less than before. Tomorrow I'm only going to school for two lessons. Vry nice. That means I can sleep longer. But I probably won't 'cause everyone else will be up at seven and banging things loudly right behind my door. Thanks guys.

The last few days have been really busy. That's what you get when someone forgets to mention that you only have 4 days to finish 6 articles. D:

*sighs*

I need some ice cream...

Wednesday, April 9, 2008

Well yeah, I kinda forget I have a blog sometimes. I think every blogger should manage with at least one post a week. But it's not easy you know! So I hope I can be forgiven for not posting (even on a Sunday O:).

And now to the regular news...

My back is aching like a BITCH. Horrible. I don't know why or how but I have somehow managed to hurt my back and now it's driving me crazy. It just won't stop hurting. *emotear*
I can't lift anything and walking is starting to become, well, problematic.
The fact that I had to stand in the cold wind and rain for 40 minutes waiting for the bus didn't make me feel much better either. It's like the bus drivers have this secret contract that they must set the timetables so that it's impossible for me to catch the earliest bus home.
I have to take two buses to get home. The first one is always at least 5 minutes late. When I get off at the right stop I can see my next bus driving away and I can give it a cheerful wave. Or not. If the bus would be ON TIME like it should, I would make the next bus. But it's not on time. This is a conspiracy I tell you! D;<

And now to some more optimistic topics.

60 Cent is now a mommy! Yup, that's right, we now have 4 kittens wandering around the house. Well... they're not exactly moving around, they just sleep and eat, but you know what I mean. :P

I don't know why I didn't write about this earlier. It's kind of a big deal. o_O

Anywayz... I would post pics but I don't have any good ones. They're living in a box in the attic. It's dark there. Pics = one big black mess.

Maybe I'll do a little picture spread when they're moving around, ya kno, checkin out da hood, fo shizz. I'll have to name them to. I'm still planning on naming them after rappers, but I'll want to see them in action first. ;D

***

I got limewire working again! Hallelujah thank you Jesus!
I reinstalled lime, turned off the firewall while it connected, and now it's working. I now realise what a useful program it is. Using Ares and those other weird things was soooo painful. It took me a month to download ONE song.
When I got Lime working, I downloaded 18 songs in 5 minutes. :D Vry nice.

***

Soo... I'd write more but I'm tired and I still have to learn some text about Alfred Nobel in Russian and my back is still hurting and there's no Heroes or Prison Break on TV today and I'm hungry.

Oh yes, one more thing. Estelle ft Kanye West - American Boy. Good song. I'd post it but I'm lazy. :D

G'night.

Good Charlotte ftw!

boomp3.com

Wooooo! Good Charlotte! :D Listen to "I Just Wanna Live". It's an awesome song. This song really made me notice the band and kinda made me a fan. I mean I'm not a huge fan or anything but this song is really awesome. And of course there are many other great ones but this is the best. :D

So why all the Good Charlotte excitement? Well duh, I saw 'em live yesterday! It was a good show. It could have been better though, but I'm not complaining. I think the fans really enjoyed it but since I'm not such a huge fan and don't know all the songs it was simply 'okay'.

But I have to say, when they played the songs I REALLY LOVE (I Just Wanna Live, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, Keep Your Hands of My Girl, Misery and a few more) I was sooo happy. :D Those were moments when I wished I could be in front of the stage jumping and screaming. Instead I was in the middle-center part and kinda jumping and screaming. On the other hand, when the lame-o songs were playing I was happy to be chilling near the back.

Actually, I shouldn't say anything bad about the show. The band was great, Joel sang better live than I expected and to my utter amazement, they weren't late but actually started the show 10 minutes earlier! And I liked how he praised all the fans and said that they had specifically wanted to come here 'cause they'd heard that there are many fans here. Awww. :D

Wait, there is one bad thing though... Paris Hilton. It's not her fault but she totally took the shine off GC 'cause all the Estonian "paparazzi" were following her like maniacs. The newspapers and the web are full of "OMGZ LUL PARIS HILTN IS HIAR!!" "WAT TEH SCHNITZEL PARIS IS RLY HEER" "PIX OR IT DIDNT HAPPN".

>_>

I took about 300 photos with my phone. Most of them are just a bunch of blurriness. This here is one of the best ones. Lol. Fail much? XD

I forgot what else I wanted to write. I'm too hungry right now. Must... eat...

K, bye.

Oh noes! I missed Sunday!

boomp3.com

Cazals - Life Is Boring (Crookers Zupa Dela Cazals Mix) <- Vry naiz. Try it. *thumbs up*

OMG.
I can't believe I didn't post anything on Sunday. I'm a horrible blogger. *emotear*

Moving on... I had a weird weekend. Spent some "family time". Gah. It's weird just to say it.

We had crazy amounts of snow in our garden so my mother forced us all outside to build snow-creatures and stuff.
This is what me and my brother managed to build. It's a bunny. Snow-bunny. Doesn't it look warm and cuddly? :)

Yeah, let's face it, it looks kinda creepy.

Wow. A fortress. If you look carefully, you can see a reindeer/horse thing in the back too. That was all that my parents managed to come up with. Pfft. Snow-bunny like totally pwns their horse-thing!

I pulled my back carrying all those snowballs... it's surprising how much a bunch of frozen rain can weigh.

But at least it was worth the effort! Two days have passed and these magnificent statues still glorify our garden:

The big blob in the center is the fortress, the slightly smaller blob in the back is the horse-thing and left of it is the amazing snow-bunny.

Had a driving lesson today. Only a few weeks left till my driver's test so I really need to practice. But god how I hate those driving lessons.
All Sehr-ghey did during the one-hour-lesson was play around with some new magic-screen-computer-thing that shows a video pic of the traffic behind the car.
This screen-thing had that special pencil to control the touchscreen and the idiot kept losing this pencil. He dropped it at least four times. Finally he told me to stop at a supermarket so he could get out of the car and look for it under his seat. Pfffft.
Can't wait for the next lesson. D:

***

Only two days left till Good Charlotte! It would be awesome if I got to meet and interview them, but just seeing the show will be great too. I hope. Never seen 'em live before. :o Actually... I should be listening to their songs right now, I only know like 5 of their songs :P

But the Cazals remix I posted is also ÜBER-NIFTY so go ahead, listen to it.

Bang! Boom! Kapow!

boomp3.com
Puddle of Mudd - Psycho. Vry good. Listen rite now plz. *thumbs up*

Went to see No Country for Old Men with blonde mafia today. It's won a few Oscars I believe.

I didn't know what to expect of it, didn't know much about it. But it surprised me, it had some really good moments. And of course watching it with my best buddy made it especially funny. :D
Not that it's a comedy. It's a drama I think. Action-scifi-drama.
But I just like to comment every small thing during movies and then giggle like mad.

My favorite character was the psychotic killer. His name was Sugar only it was spelled weird. Like Chszurgzharz or smth. He had a Willy Wonka haircut and really nifty shoes and this awesome gun-like thing he used to murder peeps.

I don't remember much of the plot. It was mainly Chzizkabab chasing some dude who stole his money and killing people on the way.

Oh, and there was Tommy Lee Jones. He was the sheriff. I do remember him muttering about his father and horses. o_O

EDIT: I just remembered the name of that dude who stole Chuzgrurgzkz's money: Llewelyn. BEST NAME EVAR XDXDXDXDXDXDXD

Anywayz, I liked the movie. I'd give it an 8/10.

***

I bought 2 books today! Terry Prathcett's Mort aaaanndd Douglas Adams' Hitchhikers's Guide to the Galaxy!

Before I was complaining that I was reading like 6 books at the same time and I just couldn't finish them... Then I finished them and had nothing to read!

So now I'm back in business. 8D

And um... That's all I guess. For now... *shifty eyes*

I'm alive!

boomp3.com

What do you know? It's Sunday again!

It's snowing. >___>
That reminded me I should blog a bit.

I survived my exam! Woohoo! (Listen to the song right now!)

The exam went by so smoothly... It took me ten minutes to pick a topic ("Who is a successful person?") instead of an hour and I finished the whole thing in about 2,5 hours (instead of 6, as I feared :D). I wrote 3,25 pages. =D

I think I did okay. Usually when I think I did well, I get a bad mark. But when I'm sure that I have written up the biggest pile of crap ever, I get a five.

So I have no idea what I'm gonna get. 70 points would be nice.... really nice.

Spring break! Woohoo! (Listen to the song again!)

A week of no school! Yeah baby!

I have managed to spend the first two days of spring break doing nothing. It feels awesome. You should try it. 8)

Okay, I admit it, I did play a little Tony Hawk's Undergroud 2. Nifty game.
And I folded some more paper swans. It's a really relaxing activity.
I just remembered another idiotic thing my English teacher said.
Teacher: Revolting? Don't you know what that means? It means to fold something. Like this- *folds some paper*
The class: o_O Are you sure?
Teacher: What? Of course! Revolting - to fold!

She is a JENIUS.

Metallica is coming to Riga this summer. Woohoo! (Lis- you know what to do! ;D)

Do I want to go? Hell yeah! Riga might suck but Metallica can make any place look cool.

Tickets will be available starting from tomorrow.
I am a user at this fbi thing, that brings these performers here so I can but tickets a few days earlier.
And now the best part - all standing places are sold out.

It's a football stadium. HUGE. I have no idea how all the tickets can be sold out when they're not even officially for sale!
Latvians... can't trust them.

This sucks. I posted 4 ads online to buy 2 tickets, no answer yet.

There's still a slim chance that they might have new tickets for sale on Monday... 'cause it would be unfair to everyone if half the tickets are already sold out when they come for sale.

Blah. The words "ticket" and "sell" are making me sick.

I need some chocolate.

I noticed that I'm beginning to post only on Sundays. I guess I'm just to lazy to do it in the middle of the week. Surprise lawl.

I want spring break to start already. One week of school left... *dies*
And Friday, the last day, will be the best, the cherry on the cake, the dot on the i, the extra chocolatey chocolate sauce on chocolate chip ice cream... my Estonian mock exam.

"Mock exam" is such a stupid expression.

Well, I decided for once to prepare for this exam and look up some good quotes.
Of course I got bored and started looking for funny quotes...

* A gentleman is a man who can play the accordion but doesn't.
* It's always darkest before the dawn. So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.
* Keep smiling. It makes people wonder what you're up to.
* I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.
*
If you can't fix it with duck tape you haven’t used enough.
* I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.
* Join the army, visit exotic places, meet strange people, then kill them.
* I like work. It fascinates me. I sit and look at it for hours.
*
Everyone makes mistakes. The trick is to make mistakes when nobody is looking.
* They say hard work never hurts anybody, but why take the chance.

+ a bumper sticker quote (wowz I even found a picture of it):
I want that one! =D

Now a little update on the weather... I thought last Sunday was pretty bad but yes, then it got worse.

Yes, that bad.
(Now would be a good time to press the 'play' button on the Miami song. If you haven't already.)

I froze my feet off on multiple occasions. Fortunately, I didn't have to amputate them.

The weekend has been slightly better, I can see the ground (and not just heaps of white cold goo).

One more thing... Icons!
I watched like almost a whole season of America's Next Top Model on YouTube (which amazingly worked quite well during my Internet troubles) and got inspired!
So I opened up Paint Shop Pro and whipped up a few icons from a photo shoot from Season 3. Well, I made like 10 icons but I'm too tired to upload 'em all, so you get only two.

lawl... no flaming plz XD

I'm going to Miami.
Welcome to Miami... Bienvenido a Miami.

PORQUE HIJO????

Why. Why oh why.
So... I wake up this morning. Ha. Surprising. It's such a wonderful morning... until I look out the window and see this:
What. The. Shit.
A frickin' winter wonderland.
It's March. I thought we were over this "cold winter" thing. And yet somehow I find myself looking at 50 tons of snow right outside my window. This is not good. Not good at all. I'm gonna have to walk to school through that crap tomorrow morning. And it's probably gonna snow some more... right in my face. Ew. I am not an arctic fox. I like sunshine and a tropical climate. And ice cream.

Gosh.

... Moving on. I emptied my camera today so I gots lots o' pics in mah comp (including several pics of the white horror outside my window)! Can you say yayz?

Here we have a fine example of the art found in the buses of Tallinn. A true masterpiece. Really makes every trip a wonderful experience:
Awwz. My kitty 60 Cent. Who is sleeping in my bed. On my bag.
I don't like you so much anymore 60. D;<

Reminds me of this -

To lighten up this icy post, here's a song, one of my faves from about 2 summers ago. Awesome.
Listen to it right now or Indifferent-Cat will find you and crawl on your back and NOT LEAVE.
Have vry nice day k? =)

Early mornings

boomp3.com

Anti-Flag - The Press Corpse

I woke up at 9.13 today. Just like that. Weird. Ususally I have to set an alarm so I don't sleep till 2 in the afternoon.
Since it's rare for me to have this much time in the morning, I used it wisely - by playing The Sims. And of course I took some pics!

Hehee... this beautiful boy was born in my Prosperity Fellowship neighborhood. That's Rufus Busto's son Torpedo. I gave him a different haircut (lawl) and now he looks slightly less intimidating.

I'm a total maniac when it comes to sims-downloads (my downloads folder is 2,6 GB)... My computer is really laggy because of it but I can't stop myself from downloading more custom content. I had another shopping spree this morning. I got a bunch of rocking outfits and crazy haircuts and like 50 guitar recolors. So I did a little photo shoot!

I love this pic. Her eyes look totally real. Creepy. o_o

And now it's time for randomness.

Gahhh. I have an interview today with this band. Actually I was supposed to do it last Saturday but they've postponed it three times. Lovely chaps. >__>
They'd better give me a fucking awesome interview or I'll shave off their emolocks.

I just ate a bar of chocolate. It was with hazelnuts. Yummy. Now I want a burger. And lots of fries.

Limewire is a piece of crap. It's been acting like a retard for 2 weeks already D:
Now I have to use some Ares to download music. Lame.

Vogue in the Movement. I discovered them about a month ago. I really love their songs but I can't find a place to download them. It's maddening. Damn you Limewire!

Pimp my bus. And kitties too of course!

boomp3.com

First of all, here is a song: W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E. by Wale. Yes, it does kind of sound like whale-dance but it's actually pronounced wah-lay. =D I discovered that it's the most awesome thing to listen to while waiting for a bus. So when you're listening, try to imagine that you're waiting for a bus. :D

To be honest, I hate waiting for buses. Standing in the cold and rainy/snowy/shitty Estonian weather isn't half as fun as it sounds like (and since it doesn't sound like fun at all then imagine how horrible it must actually be).
Thank god for mp3-players. I don't know how I lived without one for 15 years o_o. That was like... stone age. Now I can listen to weird electro/rap mash-ups and feel slightly better.

I can't wait to get my driver's license. Too bad I can't drive... Anywayz, that won't break my spirit! I'm going on my third try on Monday! Yay. Or something.
I HAVE TO PASS IT this time. All this prancing around in the cold hasn't been too good for my health. I feel like a family of hedgehogs are redecorating their kitchen in my throat. That's enough to make me take tomorrow off and not torture myself with school. I can have a lovely Friday doing nothing but sleeping and eating Actifed.

And now the daily dose of lolcat and AWWWWZ!!!!!!!111111
This pic and Liina's MSN display gave me an idea. I have a cat, her name is 60 Cent. Last year she surprised me with three kittens. I think she might do the same this year. So I decided that if she really does have kittens, I'm gonna buy them all little hoodies and name them Snoop, Kanye and Jay-Z. Then I'll have one pimpin' cat family ;D
